Location
Dystopia Rising New York uses Forestburg Scout Reservation as its primary location. The address is 1945 NY-42, Forestburgh, NY 12777.
The nearest towns are Monticello (12 miles) and Port Jervis (13 miles). Port Jervis has a train station that services the New York City area through New Jersey Transit. Both towns have supermarkets, restaurants, and hotels.
Facilities
The campsite has heated cabins with bunkbeds. All cabins have electricity. At current capacity, all players can expect to find a bunk. Cabins do not have running water or toilets, but there are nearby latrines and all cabins have a sink within walking distance.
There are showers onsite.
Depending on the season, you are allowed to have fires in designated areas. Fires must be attended at all times, and no combat can occur in the vicinity of a fire.
We do not have access to the kitchen facilities. We do have access to a walk-in freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Personal grills are allowed outside and in the Great Hall.
Safety
There is significant wildlife, including bears, on site. If you hear someone ask “are you an animal?” you must respond “I am not an animal.” You may not have open food containers in your cabin overnight, and all food waste must be taken to the trash compactor near the Great Hall before you go to sleep.
If you see a sign that says “DO NOT ENTER,” remember that is an out-of-character sign and you cannot enter that area.
There is no unsupervised swimming at the campsite. Some events might have a lifeguard on staff, and will be announced prior to the event.
The campsite can be very dark at night. If you identify a tripping hazard, please notify a guide immediately.

If you need to leave early, please contact us to set up early clean-up.
